3D Match Engine — This year’s match engine has seen more testing than ever before having been extensively beta tested in Football Manager™ Live for the past year.
The famous Football Manager™ match engine can now be viewed in full 3D with motion captured animations the players. Sports Interactive has been working on the 3D match engine with the support of SEGA Japan’s football development team who provided the motion capture data and some of the animations.
You can now watch your matches in 3D from multiple camera angles and re-watch any part of the match by fast forwarding and rewinding the action using a new match time bar that flags the key moments in the game.
The old 2D view of the match engine is still there, especially for those people whose computers aren’t powerful enough to take advantage of the 3D views.
TV View — Watch your matches in new full screen TV view and customise your match day screen with widgets to view the information you need as a football manager, be it player performance, match action zones, pitch radar, latest scores and many more.
Assistant Manager Feedback — Pre-match and in-match feedback from your Assistant Manager on how the team is performing and your player’s motivation levels, as well as hints on how your tactics are working and how you could outwit the opposition’s tactics.
Improved Media — SI have worked hard to reflect the greater impact the media has been having in recent years on the world of football, in the in-game dealings with the press. The game now features more news stories, more detail and greater media interaction.
Press Conferences — Attend pre-match and post-match press conferences with local and national journalists and build up relationships with them over time, but choose your answers carefully because they could come back to haunt you in the media at a later date.
Transfer System — Completely new and re-written transfer system code, providing an even more realistic simulation of real-life football transfers.
Transfer Rumours — View the latest news on what players are being speculated on, and who’s said to be interested in securing their services.
Board Confidence — Following on from its addition in Football Manager™ 2008, board confidence has been expanded and improved. In addition, the board will now also feedback to you on your squad harmony and the club’s stature in the football world.
Preferred Moves — Train your players to learn ‘preferred moves’ to add to their game. For example, train central defenders to not dive into tackles, or wingers to do stepovers before crossing the ball.
Female Manager — For the very first time you can now play as a female manager. All of the text in the game now also has a female gender so the game represents female managers and staff in the game in the correct gender.
Realistic Finances — SI have listened to feedback from all of their researchers to try and model every single financial area of the game correctly for each country, including transfers, staff wages, budgets, ticket prices, season tickets, competition bonuses and club sponsorships.
Updated Competitions — Fully updated for the new 2008/09 football season with all the latest league, club and player data, featuring over 5,000 playable clubs from over 50 countries, and around 350,000 players and staff from around the world, drawn fresh from the famous Sports Interactive database.
Widescreen Support — As a result of usability testing on Football Manager™ 2008, this year sees widescreen support for the game for the first time, as well as lots of tweaks to the user interface for easier navigation.

They all got fixed! Since there are so much changes, we do not list all new and updated plugins here. There were changes on nearly all of them.
Anticaptcha
JDownloader now comes with OCR methods for over 35 different servies. Enable or disable them individually.
Layout
JDownloader now uses a collapsible sidebar layout. You will experience, that you always have all currently important interactions either in the context (right click) or sidebar menu.
Keep it simple
We reduced the amount of windows to keep the app simple. Most addons and modules are placed in the main frame now. Even the linkgrabber has no popup anymore.
Performance
Now there are various options to boost JDownloader’s GUI speed. Disable advanced effects in the interface configuration, disable window decoration or switch to the low-performance-style (first style in list)
Menuless
There is no menubar any more. The sidebar and the new startmenu provide all interactions you need. Just click the JDownloader logo in the top-left corner.
Premium
Most of our premiumusers know: “To use a premiumaccount, you have to activate premium globally”. This has NOT changed. But the Global premium switch no provides more features… Click it with the left mousebutton, and you enable/disable premium globally. A right click invokes the premium-quickmenu. Open your favourite hoster’s configuration as fast as possible. The quick-Premium button is located at the bottom-left corner.
Hostericons
We now use Hoster’s logo instead of text. We will only use their logo if we have the hosters’ permission. If you like to use custom hoster icons, just create an icon with the hoster’s domain in jd_home\jd\img\hosterlogos
for example: jd_home\jd\img\hosterlogos\mysamplehoster.com.png
The icons have to be in .png format, and should be 16×16 Pixel.
Have a break
We now have a break feature, which reduces downloadspeed to a minimum but keeps connections open. This may be usefully if you have to do a voice call.
Stop after X
The new Stop-Sign Feature allows you to mark a download or package, after which the download should stop. Right click on any Downloadlink or Filepackage to set it’s stop sign and no further downloads will start after the selected one.
Some downloadlinks are more equal than others
You are used to the fact, that JDownloader handles links from top to bottom. This is still true, except you set priority on some links or packages. A priorized link will always start before others. If you like to download a certain link NOW, you do not longer have to move it to the list’s head. Just click right → an give it a priority form -1 to 3. You can even assign priority in the linkgrabber.
Colorful
JDownloader comes in your preferred color to fit perfect to the rest of your system.
Configuration→Interface→Look→Select a style and restart.
Greedy Grabber
The linkgrabber has been improved a lot. It comes totally rewritten and provides packaging by drag&drop, filtering file types, online- and statuschecks,hoster selection, and much more. The Linkgrabber’s configuration allows to disable the filecheck or to edit a static filterlist. Using this list, you can filter special file types, hoster, etc. The filter is based on regular expressions which match on the url or the filename. Double click on packages or links to open its file(package) information. Click right on various packages to set the destination for all together.
Be informed
Balloons which pop up at the right bottom inform you about important events. Of course, this feature can be disabled. Moreover, JD shows you more detailed infos about what it is doing. A filterable log helps you to find your information.

Most options now have a header. Clicking this header usually leads you to the concerned knowledge base site. If you need detailed help for a certain feature, try to press ctrl+shift and move our mouse over any component.
Package info and Link info
Double click on a download link and you will get detailed info about it’s download destination and source, or about it’s chunks if you load with parallel connections.
Double click on a package and you will get detailed package information. You are even able to change download destination, package name, archive password or the package comment.

In order to install “Unsigned” releases, you need to go trough a one-time procedure. You will need to run the in the release included “SecMan.exe”. This program allows you to install our future “Unsigned” releases, without signing them every time.For this, you will need to have TRK (included in this package) installed, and connected to your pc via USB connection.

To get this app properly running, make sure you have installed the newest Nokia PC Suite, and your phone connected via “PC Suite” mode. On the phone, run the TRK app, in applications folder. When it asks for bluetooth connection, don’t turn it on, and change connection settings to USB. After you have done that, click “Next” and follow the instructions on screen.
When the installation is done, look in the Applications folder on your phone, and find SecMan. Open it, and click on “Install Root Certificate”. After this is done, you will be able to install our future “Unsigned” releases like normal “Signed” applications.
Please keep in mind, if you format / upgrade your firmware, you’ll need to do this step again and after thatmanually install those apps from Application Manager.
