How to Install Collector’s Edition or RAZOR without updating:
1-TURN OFF YOUR INTERNET DURING INSTALL
2- Download and extract the files = 5.5GB ISO
3- Mount ISO on your virtual drive and install.
4- Download the Key Gen and enter the cd keys during install
5- Download crack and install in game directory,
Replace your TS3.exe with the cracked TS3.exe located at:

C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin\TS3.exe

6-Create a desktop shortcut of your installed TS3.exe and launch the game
from the TS3.exe and NOT the Sims3Launcher.exe
7- Full Retail The Sims 3 and now play the game!

I did all the things that you said step by step and it’s still not working. and I open the launcher app and click play it still asks for cd. I am using a mac book pro. can you help me out. Thanks

I downloaded it for Mac, got to everything, but it looks like the Mac crack isn’t working, when I try to open with with the cracks thesims.exe file it says ‘you can not open this is dos mode’ and when I open it in the launcher, which I know we’re not supposed to do, it asks for the disc.
